What Causes an Aneurysm?

– Aneurysms are caused
by a variety of things, the most common one is what we call a congenital, or berry aneurysm. This is the one we’ve been talking about that you’re born with a
weakness in the blood vessel, and it gradually forms over many years. There are certain
instances where people can actually have traumatic aneurysms that occur with a bad trauma, or following infections
or other types of diseases that involve the brain, but by far the most common
one is the berry aneurysm that gradually evolves from an abnormality or weakness in the blood vessel.
